When this happens, it is more than likely that the camera was activated towards the end of the billing cycle (or the end of the month), then another invoice was forwarded at the beginning of the billing cycle (or the first of the month).
For example, if a camera was activated on September 25th, the first invoice would be for the remainder of September and the month of October. Then on October 1st an invoice will be provided for November as Scoutek bills one month in advance.
If activating a camera towards the end of the billing cycle (or the end of the month), selecting a smaller data plan initially is suggested. The data plan can then be adjusted as needed the next month.
